How JaldiDM collects, uses, and protects information when you use our WhatsApp Business API platform.

This Privacy Policy explains how JaldiDM ("JaldiDM", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit our website or use our software platform (the "Service"). JaldiDM is a technology platform that helps businesses communicate with their customers over the official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) provided by Meta.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to (a) businesses and their team members who create an account and use JaldiDM ("Customers"), and (b) end-users (a Customer's own customers) whose WhatsApp messages are processed through the Service on that Customer's behalf. For end-user data, the Customer is the data controller and JaldiDM acts as a data processor.

2. Information we collect

Account & business information

  • Name, work email, phone number, business/company name, and password (stored hashed).
  • WhatsApp Business Account details you connect: phone number IDs, WhatsApp Business Account ID, display name, and access tokens issued by Meta.
  • Billing details for paid plans (processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers).

WhatsApp & messaging data

  • Messages, media, templates, and status events (sent, delivered, read) exchanged between your business number and your customers, received via Meta's Cloud API webhooks and stored so you can manage conversations.
  • Contact profiles (WhatsApp ID, profile name) and labels/notes your team adds.

Usage & technical data

  • Log data (IP address, browser, pages visited, timestamps), session information, and cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to secure the Service.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service — sending and receiving WhatsApp messages, broadcasts, chatbots, and analytics on your behalf.
  • To authenticate users, prevent abuse, and secure accounts.
  • To provide support, communicate service updates, and process payments.
  • To improve and develop features, in aggregated or de-identified form where possible.
  • To comply with legal obligations and Meta's platform policies.

4. Meta / WhatsApp Platform Data

The Service uses the WhatsApp Business Platform. Our access to and use of information obtained through Meta APIs complies with the Meta Platform Terms, Developer Policies, and the WhatsApp Business Messaging & Commerce Policies. We use Meta access tokens solely to send and receive messages on the connected business number and never sell WhatsApp data or use it for advertising.

5. How we share information

  • Meta Platforms: messages and related metadata are transmitted through Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API to deliver them to recipients.
  • Sub-processors: trusted infrastructure and service providers (e.g. cloud hosting, database, and payment processors) that help us run the Service under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal & safety: where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of JaldiDM, our Customers, or the public.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

We retain account and message data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Customers can delete conversations and data from within the app. When an account is closed, we delete or de-identify associated data within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by law.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, row-level security on our database, and least-privilege service credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Your rights & choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Customers can manage most data in-app; to exercise other rights, contact us using the details below. End-users should contact the business that messaged them (the data controller); we will assist that business as its processor.

10. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
